Yes and no!! It will curve a ball quite a bit, it does add distance when you set it for maximum range. But I haven't taken it out on an open field and actually measured how far it will shoot - yet. I'm go ing to try at a football field if I can get on there and see what it can do. I do know that when you put it on max. distance the ball really drops down out of the barrel and the the spin takes over and it just takes off. I'll post how it does for me after I get some more practice with it. |

ya thats what the tippmann flatline do to the ball they put backspin on it so it drops and goes further the barrels inside the flatlines are actually curved |

True but the apex does it more than the flatline and if you turn the body on the end of the barrel you can curve it left, right around a tree/bunker or down over a bunker. It is really wild how much it will curve a pb.
man i can't type or spell worth a dam tonight |

I've only used it once with some friends in the woods in back of my house. The weather turned real rainy and we didn't play much so I'm not ready to judge yet. But just shooting off my deck at 80 to 100 feet it seemed pretty good. It does seem to be like the flatline though, if you turn your fps up over 280/285 it doesn't seem to work as good. I will say that it does take some getting use to tho. |

| some refs might say you cant change it, because the rules say that no tampering with you gun or loader except turning the hopper on and using a squeegie/swab for ball breaks during gameplay. |

| and yea, thats the opposite of how my UL works, accuracy is better at 285+fps than at 280 |

| Just ordered the ramping chip, probably didn't need it but now I'll have some choices on fire power. Just hope it works as good as some of the a5 egrips I've seen on ramping. Those will put some paint out. I doubt it will keep up with my old 98custom with a modified rt, but if it does I can take my halo b and put it on the goose. |

Got my ramping chip today, but my selenoid isn't tripping the sear very good, so I can't really tell if it's doing much. Guess I better re lube and change batteries and try again. any other ideas out there?? _________________ Team Headache - KY. Division |
